Andrew Faken Promoted to Business Officer

Tim Loven, Roseau Border Bank President, announced Andrew Faken has been promoted to Business Officer. Faken earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance through NDSU and spent several years in the banking industry serving in a variety of capacities including business and agriculture underwriting. He joined Border Bank in 2018 as a Credit Officer.

“Andrew is a natural fit for this position, based on his experience and ability to understand what it takes to help businesses grow. His customers will quickly discover the value Andrew will bring to their businesses as their business banking partner,” said Loven.

“The Roseau region has been very important to my family and me for many years. My wife, (Katie Hamness Faken), and three young daughters live in the area. We were both raised in small communities close by and feel very fortunate we can raise our family here. It is professionally and personally rewarding to partner with our businesses on their journey to success, which ultimately contributes to the overall economic health of the Roseau County area,” said Faken.

Faken can be reached at andrew.faken@border.bank, 218-463-0791 (office), or at the branch in Roseau, 1083 3rd Street.

Border Bank was established in 1935 and has nine branches located in Minnesota: Coon Rapids, Greenbush, Thief River Falls, Middle River, Badger, Roseau, Baudette, International Falls and Clearbrook. Border Bank also has a branch in Fargo, North Dakota, with a second Fargo branch opening later in April.
